So frustrating, wanting to respond to someone else's post (in this case a friending meme) and not being able to do so. I get an insertion cursor over the "post" button, not an arrow, and it won't work. Need $$ for a newer computer....

Hello again! It had actually occurred to me a few days ago that we haven't had a Friending Meme in a little over a year, and since more people are becoming Princess Tutu fans every day, I thought we could post around and make new friends~!

I was wondering if anyone would like to participate in an MEP for the anniversary? A few years ago the scorpions released a CD on which they play with the berlin philharmonia orchestra

Hey PT fans! It's been mentioned a few times already, but this August marks the tenth year since Princess Tutu first aired.
I'm not sure if anyone has made specific plans for it on any other sites, but I thought I would share a quick idea I had.
Would anyone be interested in having a mass PT comm rewatch of the series? Maybe with someone using a livestream account or something like that? I'm thinking that it won't be all at once--maybe just an episode or two at a time, and scheduled over a few weeks to make things more flexible for everyone participating.
And during/after every rewatch there can be a new discussion post in the comm where we can all share our thoughts of it--characters, plots, maybe our original thoughts to the show in comparison to how we feel about it now when we watch it with friends--anything goes. Just some good old fashioned fun and activity for the comm.
Would anyone be interested?

Earlier this year, there were news articles about a giant crow population in Rochester, NY, particularly at one of the old churches. Apparently thousands of crows like to roost in the old trees by the church and even though the birds themselves are interesting...the giant mess they make is not. Later on, the city ended up cutting down the old trees and tried to break the crows up into smaller groups using noisemakers.
I'll admit, while I read the news I started thinking, "What on earth are the raven king and his groupies doing there?" Hopefully it's not Drosselmeyer writing another story!

Summary: Lilie and Pike had a plan, Ahiru had a peculiar dream and Fakir didn't know why he was involved in both of these while Rue was watching the situations that would follow with a lot of interest. How true are the feelings between the three friends and how much does Fakir really care for Ahiru? Will he manage to say the right words or will he not? How strong can Lilie and Pike be against the words of temptation?
Note: Written for the Magical Girl fic exchange. I was asked to write an Ahiru centered story that would somehow make her appear at some point in her duck form and if it would have a romantic aspect, it would be Fakir/Ahiru. Also fills theme 174 "Spellbound" from the 500themes challenge.

I know one of the members here posted the PT characters made up in Doll Divine's Princess Maker last year, but since the website released their Tudors Maker... I decided to jump on the bandwagon and created some PT characters a few months ago.

Wow, long time no post in this community (let alone any LJ community).
So, why the update? Because two commissions that I recently paid to have done (for Princess Tutu) have been completed! :D
My Princess Tutu shrine is slowly growing. Last year I purchased the "This Pendent Heart" fanbook by Mangaka-chan and Lunasphere. This year, I've purchased the 6 individual DVD volumes released by ADV (I already owned the 1st complete collection, but I wanted the individual volumes for the artwork) and these two commissions. There's someone who has (had?) the gashapon I was going to buy from, but she's misplaced the box and can't find them. If she's able to find 'em, I'll purchase them from her, but otherwise it's currently up in the air. And at some point this year I plan on purchasing this artbox from Paul Champagne to hold the individual PT volumes I purchased. I'm not quite certain what else I can buy to add to my shrine (that one Princess Tutu figure looks really gorgeous, but I'm probably going to have to hold off for a long while considering the amount of money it is). If anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate them.

Hi, this is my first time posting on this community. I haven't been lurking here for long, maybe a couple of hours, but as soon as I saw this community it inspired me to write something, though for now it's a bit short.
